I once acquired 'the +9 Crystal Plate Male of the People* {+a lot of fancy stuff}'
Pretty good to enter Zot with my NaFi with some +AC mutation for AC:65 in total.
* Don't know if this was the correct name, but it was something like this

Just got this bad boy a while ago;
- Code:
v - the +12 swamp dragon armour "Gehushuh" (worn) {rPois Str+3 Int+2}
(You found it on level 2 of the Snake Pit)
It affects your strength (+3).
It affects your intelligence (+2).
It protects you from poison.

Yay, a dungeon 4 artifact ring. The ring of Ofuck {+Inv Dex-3 Stlth--} This character splatted when just around the corner there was a room in which there was a ogre, a centaur and Dowan and Duvessa. That was a aptly named ring for the situation I stepped into.

It's tempting using this just for rF+ rC+, but I'm far, FAR too much of sucker for protection brands, which I am curently wielding, to even consider that.

- Code:
J - the ring of the Original Sin {rPois Int-4 Dam-6}
(You found it in an ice cave)
[ring of poison resistance]
It affects your intelligence (-4).
It affects your damage-dealing abilities (-6).
The only context I could imagine for this item being remotely desirable is on a summoner with a staff of energy attempting to kill that tempting serpent in the Snake Pit. My character fits that description. He's also a green draconian. I wasted about half my potions and two scrolls of blinking in the ice cave for this gem.

It's a GREAT artifact for dealing with anything that can poison you as long as you aren't a caster and can do large amounts of non-magical damage.

Felids would offer sexual service and still have to pay on top of that to get this amulet. And in the end it would be a lazy mimic that's sleeping and that's going to strangulate the poor cat when it wakes up.

some sort of ring {+Lev +Inv rPois rElec Acc+5 Dam+6}
The only really good piece of loot I ever, EVER got from Lair:8. It was from the Yak ending, which, aside from the elephant ending, seems to be the only Lair:8 ending that gives items better than your average dungeon crap.

The only artifact i found so far.
- Code:

On a Deep Dwarf Berserker. The +3 Str was sweet enough for a Zerker, as for the +Int
The -1 malus finally doomed my Dwarf a few levels deeper tough.

the ring "Deuse The" {rF+ rC+ rN+ Dex+2}
In a game where I've already gone quite deep but I hadn't found any other (decent) randart and where Trog is just trolling me.
As I've already met Mennas and Mara, my bet is that on the next level I'm going to be blown by Boris in one turn.
