I actually never put the thing on. Found it in a Zig and already had pretty much every single resistance pip I could ever want (Zig scumming is fun guys!) and my other 2 rings gave me regeneration and sustain abilities (along with a bunch of str, dex and int) which I actually valued much more highly by then. Slaying bonuses were a bit meh too as I was running with a staff of fire/air for hitting things I needed to.

You need the strength bonus and the vorpal brand to disguise the fact that it's the dungeon's fastest butter knife, with the deadliness of same.

My most spectacular (AC-wise) find tonight was:
a +15 plate mail +rF, +rN in Crypt 5
and a decent one, on the same character:
a +4 steam dragon armour {rElec, rC+} Vaults:8
There was also a ring in a shop that contained the word "fap" in its name but I didn't take a screenshot. Silly me.
