These could be useful, in the long hybrid casterly run... (On an orc fighter now, hmm.)

The +1 pair of gloves of Oka's Regard {*Corrode rF+ Str+4 Int+8}

For now, I'm still transitioning from scale to plate (going to Lair branches) and barely casting much anyway, so I'll just stick with +2 gloves of strength. But maybe if that stashed higher Necromancy stuff ever gets going... :evil:

This is kind of a best and worst artifact simultaneously. The resistances and bonuses are nice, but MINUS 8? I've never seen a randart with that bad of an enchantment.

My experience is that large shield randarts so often have such bad enchantment numbers, that they are almost always useless, or inferior to a non artifact one.

I was playing an Ogre of Okawaru, with the goal of doing a 15 rune run with Okawaru (I think it's very ungrateful how people play Oka for 3 runes but inevitably ditch him for TSO if they want to play extended). The character got a lot of nice GCs/GSCs, and this was one of the best. Unfortunately, I got it near the very end of Zot:5, after I had already collected all 15 runes. It would sure have been useful for the rest of extended! (Wouldn't have used it as a main weapon since it would have cut my mana pool too much, but it'd have been a great switch-in. On that note, my ogre was pretty good at spellcasting considering he was wearing GSC - something like Summon Mana Viper was no problem to cast by around mid-extended.) It still saw a bit of use against OOFs and the stuff on the orbrun, but didn't get enough time to shine, sadly.

This was my main weapon for most of extended, by the way:

I understand that this topic is mostly for lucky/unlucky rolls on randarts, but still...
I just have found the "Devastator" for centaur of Wu Jian.
The combo is completely ridiculous. Even single shatter activation can cause plenty of pain, but it can trigger multiple times per step when you whirlwinding through a bunch of enemies. Just let your imagination to draw a picture...

Found lying around on D:10, everyone's favorite floor but still.

Also raises obnoxious choices like, do I really want to even try Ice Cave without rC now that I have this. Ugh. First world artifact problems! :lol:

Mostly notable for how early I found both of these, on a GnNe. MR++++ by D:5 feels real good. I just tabrolled Grinder without being paralyzed once.

the +12 demon whip "Bomem" {elec, rElec rF+ rC+}

Along with +1 boots of running earlier in the map
and a +1 crystal plate armor of cold resistance in the same final treasure area

(Not too much more loot in the place that time, hehe.)

Hey more hubris alert though!

This one is a bit of a hit for any might-be-casting. Still great stabbing. Even skewering Lair komodo dragons and slugs with it on my octopode (some damage soaking occasionally applies).
