Same is true for Sonja. If you have met sonja+nessos, you can usually get rid of confuse/polymorph at zero evocations (until you enter spider).

I once polymorphed nessos into a guardian serpent, then i found out that when a unique is polymorphed into a intelligent being it keeps its spells. Ouch.
You shall never see my color again.

Blink Range and Haste? Uhh!? ...uhh!? Unless it also got the guardian serpent spells that's kinda weak...
