PSA: Elf:$ enemies no longer patrol the vault (for now?)

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

PSA: Elf:$ enemies no longer patrol the vault (for now?)

https://github.com/crawl/crawl/commit/e ... 6340782271
  Code:
Revert "Mark the Elf:3 vault enemies as patrolling."

Observation suggests this doesn't serve its intended purpose, and
may in fact make it *easier* to killhole - you can lure off
individual elves significantly easier than before. Let's see how
the elementalists perform without this restriction.

"Observation suggests" is evidently Grunt's polite way of saying "I watched amalloy cheese the hell out of my poor elementalists".

But seriously I agree with this change: patrolling didn't seem to make killholing either harder or easier, but sure made it much more tedious and drawn-out.

I definitely found patrolling easier -- you could reset the whole fight by walking away or maybe (worst-case) reading a scroll of fog. And you'd virtually never find dangerous elves wandering outside the vault blocking an escape route.
