Another Redraft: Monk God
God of Unarmed Combat and Throwing; appreciates taking on the dungeon with as little equipment as possible and offers boosts to help you do that. God has very slow piety gain and is weak for a long time; but is very strong later if very few items are used. [Intended for Humanoids to give up everything except jewelry.] I think some of it's probably trash, but I'm unsure how to sort it.

All god passives require having empty slots. They grow with time (get stronger if you never use the slot and gain a lot of XP with the god). Filling the slot removes the bonus (and resets the growth of it). [IE if you remove each slot at different times; each has it's own piety count.]

Note: All actives use Breath and/or Exhaustion only; no piety or MP costs. They are unlocked in a random order slowly.

- Gaining experience with empty equipment slots. VERY SLOW gain [20 XL to get to 200.]
- Nothing. Piety accumulates forever.

- Crystal body - (No Body Armour) - Your openness to the world reforms your soul with strength. - HP +Piety/2% ; MP + Piety/2%
- Closeness to Earth - (No Boots/Barding) - You are sure on your feet and feel close to the earth. - Decreased odds to stumble in water or be trampled by elephants/dragons. Earth Enhancer. Universal + ACC.
- Freedom of thought - (No Hat) - Your Mind connects into the air around you. - MR boost. Air Enhancer. Int Boost (up to +10).
- Elemental Channeling - (No Gloves) - You channel your elemental power through your fists. (On UC hit [including offhand hit]; you have a chance [depending on piety]) to proc an extra hit based on spellpower of Fire/Ice/Air/Earth randomly. This is weaker than a normal enhancer staff, but attached to a base weapon that doesn't suck.
- Warmth of Body - no Cloak - Your exposure to the elements grows your strength against them - Fire and Ice Enhancers. Fire and Ice resistance.
- Personal Strength - no Weapon or Shield - Your willingness to go into the dungeon unarmed reaffirms your faith in yourself and your god above all others. - Effects of spells with the priest flag have a chance to fail against you.
Actives:
Note: All actives use Breath and/or Exhaustion only; no piety or MP costs. They are unlocked in a random order slowly.
- Stun Strike - Exh - Paralyze a target in melee range. (STR/UC vs HD.)
- Circle Throw - Breath - Throw a single enemy in melee range towards a farther away enemy (or an empty square). Single check (STR/Throwing vs HD) to throw it; harder check if you attempt to throw the target directly into lava/deep water. (If you fail the second check it lands at the edge of the pool).
- Strangle - Exh - You constrict the target and prevent it from breathing; it acts as if silenced. (STR/XL vs HD).
- Disarm - Breath - Wretch the target's weapon from their hands. (DEX/Dodging vs HD)
- Taunt - Breath - Attempts to frenzy the target. (INT vs HD).
- Soul Sphere - Exh - You channel the elements through your fists and fire a ball of pure energy. (UC/INT based attack).
