God came into my dream and I was one with God and I knew/was told that my son, who had been born with severe brain damage (eschemic injury due to malpractise), was going to be just fine. My son was discharged from neonatal that weekend after only 10 days (they had expected him to be there for 6 months minimum) and went on to make what the specialists describe as a "miraculous" recovery.

We were told he would never walk or talk or know our names. He has very minor cerebral palsy that affects his right hand, which he can still use for all but the fine motor tasks. Otherwise he is quick and bright and you would never even know what happened if you saw him.

That depends, I've had lucid dreams where I was able to conjure anything I wanted into existence. But yeah, the cock sock is pretty pointless when there are so many easier, less humiliating ways to have frequent lucid dreams.

I also had a lucid dream where I had no control of the dream at all and hid in a furnace closet for half an hour until I woke up, but still.

Really? I find it hard to control. Definitely aware and can push the dream in a different direction, can at least fly if I want to, but still the dream is happening around me like I am being taken downstream by a river. If I start to really focus on something (which itself is hard to do), I invariably wake up.

I occasionally have lucid dreams. I usually realize it's a dream when I start flying and say to myself "Hey, I'm flying! This must be a dream, Cool!" Then I can pretty much take control. But it only works if I start out with a non-lucid dream where I start flying. Haven't had one of those in a while.

Really? I find it hard to control. Definitely aware and can push the dream in a different direction, can at least fly if I want to, but still the dream is happening around me like I am being taken downstream by a river. If I start to really focus on something (which itself is hard to do), I invariably wake up.

When I was in my twenties, I practiced lucid dreaming a lot, and you can do pretty much anything you want, with practice. I've done repeatedly, from the sublime: levitating/flying, breathing/running underwater, walking through walls, jumping hundreds of feet into the air and coming back down only to bound up again, running super-fast, etc., to the prosaic: having sex with with anyone. I've built cities from my imagination, conjured people I knew, living or dead, and many more things than I could list. I haven't practiced it in a long time, many years, but when you are actively doing so it is like living two lives at once.

Dreams have their own physics, and learning them is fun. You first have to realize you are dreaming, which begins simply as a conscious effort to be alert for signs you are dreaming before going to sleep, and the main cues are almost invariably the difference in physics. From there, the way I learned to do it was to look at my hand once I realized I was dreaming, and try to hold the image of it steady. After mastering that, you look at your surroundings and hold them in place, as well. Once you can establish continuity, the limits are only bound by your imagination.

So basically there were these mechanical pencils that let you undergo a completely reversible temporary sex change. I wasn't exactly sure on all the ways to activate them, but tucking them behind your ear worked. I used these to do the sex swap and then masturbate excessively. You could borrow the mechanical pencils at a bar (I have no Idea why I came up with a bar. I'm underage in the U.S. and have never actually been in a bar.) that was tended but my CS prof as a night job. The sex change ability could apperently be put on any object, because in the dream I asked for a necklace with the ability. I also remember that I missed the D&D group that I was part of in dream because I was busy masturbating in female form.

I had a dream a long time ago - pretty standard stuff, really - a bunch of people needed help with a problem, there was some poorly defined but threatening enemy, etc... But when the mooks showed up and started wrecking the place up, I awoke. Strange thing was, when I got back to sleep, time had passed in the dream as if I had simply "vanished" while I had been awake, and this became a sort of super power to just phase out and come back, but I had to wake up each time. Anyway, as I said this was years ago and eventually I had to wake up and go to school or somesuch. I don't think I finished saving the... Rebels? Anyway I've never really had a lucid dream (that I know of?) but this was bordering on that, I think, and I still (vaguely) remember it fondly.

yeah I had a dream pretty much exactly like this but I was cutting off my beard and shaving it. I spent some dream time contemplating my shaven face, half-pissed I lost my beard in a moment of weakness but pleased at how I looked. I pondered, for a while, Epictetus's claims about beard, them being an crucial accouterments of the philosopher who, not conforming to the fashions of his time, but only to nature or to reason, has no reason to shave. It was a poignant moment, and stress began to mount. And then a bat flew around me and I tried to swat it away. It flew right up to me and under my sweater and roosted in my armpit! I gasped, awoke with a start! I vocalized, conscious of my surroundings but not yet awake enough to be in control, that I was groaning out loud, "hooooooooooooooo".


Fucking bats. I don't have any sort of bat phobia but the wriggling furry weirdo all up in your armpit is a shocking sensation

All I knew is that after I regained my senses, my torso springed up from the bed and I was in mild shock. I still don't know whenether it was an ufo fixation trip that went bad, or a legitimate abduction.

Other time, I was slowly falling into sleep (you know that feeling when music starts playing in your head and it sounds real, or when somebody talks complete nonsense in your head but it feels so real and independent you have a feeling somebody IS there talking to you?) and I swear, my mother was behind me (despite that I was laying face down) saying "Go to sleep, go to sleep...". I entered that almost-sleeping phase when the world starts spinning. I experienced that feeling before and almost always broke it, went fully awake, because it was so weird. This time, it was freaky.

Other time I had a dream I was raped during a swinger party. It felt like waterboarding. After waking up my pelvic muscles hurt like a BITCH.

BTW. I saw a star moving around the sky sometime October 2008. It moved with enormous speed (compared to a jet). It made a fluid ~180 degree turn mid-flight without losing any speed. Then it just kept going in a straight line up to the horizon.
