good/bad hearing mutations

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

good/bad hearing mutations

Good Hearing 1 Instead of being told the general direction/distance (e.g. distant blaring to the east) of a very loud noise (this includes portals) the noise gets marked on the map.

Good Hearing 2 When you hear a shout from out of LOS, the map gets marked at that shout's origin.

Good Hearing 3 You can hear where monsters are if they leave your LOS, just like how monsters can tell where you are after you leave their LOS.

Bad Hearing 1 (Your spellcasting is slightly noisier)
You can't tell apart many sounds like the difference between horrible gurgling and hissing.
You're never told the direction that a sound comes from.
The lines of uniques get Google-translated into a random language and back.

Bad Hearing 2 (Your spellcasting is noisier)
You can't hear anything beyond your LOS, which includes shouts.

Bad Hearing 3 (Your spellcasting is much noisier)
You can only hear loud "Zot!"s, nearby alarms, and the GONG.

What do you mean "your spellcasting is noisier"?
You shall never see my color again.

Well you tend to talk louder so you can hear yourself. Haven't you ever said something to someone in headphones and they say "SORRY, WHAT?!"

  Code:
<Whoahey> Yeah, y'know those headphones we sell where it blocks out all other sound but still lets you listen to music?
<ColonelPanic> Yeah
<Whoahey> Y'know how I always say that everyone always puts them on and their friend always says the same thing
<Whoahey> "Can you hear me?! You're a complete tool! <insert random insult> ...did you hear that?"
<ColonelPanic> Heh right.
<Whoahey> Some guy and his girlfriend came in and tried it
<Whoahey> Might I add, she was friggin' gorgeous
<Whoahey> He puts on the headphones, usual conversation ensues -- "Can you hear me?" ::dude shrugs::
<Whoahey> And I'm not even kidding, the girl yells out at the top of her lungs "I FUCKING CHEATED ON YOU WITH MIKE!"
<ColonelPanic> holy shit lol
<Whoahey> The guy just laughs, shrugs and points to the headphones.
<Whoahey> I swear, everyone in the store stopped what they were doing and were like O_O

And then everyone applauded and gave his girlfriend a $100 tip.
That girl's name? Albert Einstein

I actually knew a guy whose last name was Einstein. Everyone would joke and say that he was the one who said (random thing).
