Disappointed. Was expecting: The +14 quickblade of irony (Ponderous, *slow, str+3 dex-3).

+14 is a naga's base movement speed, ponderous is ponderous, slow has a chance to apply slow to you on attack. The sad thing is this is probably still useful, maybe we need to remove the +14.

It's already plenty ironic that these weapons that are meant to be bad are still overpowered. Besides, anything related to Chei is inherently ironic.

Well, the "ironic" quickblade would be a quickblade that is actually slow - what I gave. The original post is ironic in that the title sets you up to expect a slow quickblade, but then the posted quickblade isn't actually any slower, although it does reduce dexterity. Both could be considered ironic, it's just at what level - the item itself, or the post.

Irony just means the opposite of what is expected; both posts are ironic on some level. Neither of them are really that terrible of weapons, if they existed. Mine's a bit worse if the slow effect procs, but is otherwise decent. Winged's would be downright amazing against holy-vuln monsters, and pretty good against anything else.

I don't think either qualifies as Alanis irony, aka things which are inconvenient or unfortunate.

I play EV. I find +12 randarts with resistant enemies, like you thought it. I don't mind since they think this in 4 Gods:Gozag (Ehh)Makhleb (Invocations are a proposal). That is always pick Vehumet, Ru proposes to agree with a thrown a postgame character with Level 15 or the Lernaean Hydra's back and unwelcoming to find.

I don't believe Cerekov is a true Markov bot. Cerekov uses mostly correct sentence structure and is too topical. It's a human trying to be random.

Eh. More likely a hand edited output of a Markov bot. It'd be hard for a human to be this random.
