Facts

William Shatner was a much better actor, and person in general, than any other captain in any other sci fi show, book, or movie, bar none. That's because his character, Captain Janeway Luc-Shatner, was so good at fighting with lightsabers, while he quipped his hilarious one-liners, such as "Hasta la vista, baby" and "That's the ticket!". When he told Spock, the main villian of the series "I told you I'd kill you last. I lied." before throwing him off a cliff into the sarlacc pit, I nearly died laughing, even though it was also really serious, because the acting was so good.

I just want to make sure the younger generation knows about this stuff, it's pretty important.

Re: Facts

I guess his character was great but I think The Sopranos just still isn't my favorite show. It might have been the whole love affair with Benedict Cumberbatch's character; it didn't really work for me.

The cross-over between sci-fi and mafia crime family sounded really good on paper, but some elements didn't work, despite the excellent acting. Why did Lando Calrissian side with the Gotti family when the Jedi and Star Fleet had already saved his ass like 10 times?!?

It wasn't clear in the film, but in the book it points out that Lando wanted to get even with the Corleones, and the Jedi and Star Fleet weren't going to help with that. That's why he sent Katniss off with a message. If she hadn't been delayed by the Cylon ambush, it would have worked perfectly.

Oh, of course! Although I admit I half expected that the Cylon and Wookies were going to team up with Don Corleone so they could finally catch Dr. Who and steal his DeLorean. I thought the romance arc between T1000 and Katniss felt pretty tacked on though...

Still a better love story than twilight?

I put some bread into my toaster, after it popped out I put butter on it, and ate it. YUCK! It was actually margarine. So I threw it away.

That was a better love story than twilight...
