There's nothing in the rules about not being able to talk about balls.

Why do you think it needed to be removed?

apparently envying women so much makes me a misogynist prick or something.

Oh, it's not the envying of women that does that... :P

For starters, it's off topic, and the OP expressed a request for moderation. On top of that, complaining about how easy another class of people have it is tacky and unlikely to yield anything aside from dismissal of or insults to people of that class. Would you question my removing posts about how easy black people have it?

If you're genuinely interested in how easy it is to be a given sex or gender, feel free to do some research on the subject. There are a wide variety of sources out there that can help you understand the experiences of people of other sexes and genders. If you'd like recommendations, I'd be happy to discuss it over PM.

Edit: Neither balls nor butts are inherently banned topics. In the thread from which they were removed they were off topic and had no particular value aside from a segue into the posts about how difficult it is to be a man.

my understanding is offtopic is ontopic in CYC, is that not correct?

I'm not a mod, but I'd say that no, CYC isn't entirely "offtopic is ontopic". It's just moderated less strictly, and joke posts are fine. There's some threads (the debate derail thread) which were intended to be offtopic, and got fairly strange, but they weren't meant to do anything serious to begin with. CYC is probably a hard forum to mod because it's intended to have less limits, but there still has to be some limit, so whenever they enforce that there's more backlash. Things get moved out of GDD more often and easily ;)

in practice it's a spam forum, but porn and MRA/reactionary stuff is still likely to get deleted because some mods dont want it to turn into reddit

I was really saddened by the removal of the 4chan image about fingerless gloves.

I'm not sure why, but something about combining "fingerless gloves" and "balls" in two consecutive posts strikes me funny.

I never imagined someone would take Twelwe seriously like that.
but, you see, I'm not saying women have it easy. I'm saying I, specifically, do not enjoy much of the perks of being a man, and envy women. that's the same thing as saying I dont enjoy being a white man, and envy black men. I dont see what's wrong with that, but you're the mod, and I respect your decision. it is not like that post was important to me and I'm bitter or something.
anyway, I appreciate the mod's stance on butts and balls.

you think? I dont see why. I would not be offended by a woman saying she envies men, or a black man saying he envy white people, why is it offensive the other way around? maybe it is a language thing, and envy is too strong of a word (in portuguese it is not)?

Removed a post from mps attacking people who aren't comfortable with misogyny and issued a warning.

I don't think it is a fair representation of the comment at all. The comment was basically "People have different world views and a person's world view might not be applicable to all parts of the world".

I'm really not comfortable with your usage of the word misogyny, no offense. (not saying mps's comment was not over the top, sorry mps.)
what part of "I admire women, and wish I was one, because being a man fucking sucks" is misogynistic?
seriously, I can't improve if I have no idea what I did wrong!

Hirsch I, I didn't mean you when I said misogyny, I was just referring to the argument mps was making.
