New unrand: Shield of Polar Bear

A +3 shield with {+3 AC, +Rage} made entirely from polar bear. It lets you go berserk at will, but once your health is dropped below 30% you will be forced to go into rage.
Since this shield is technically a bear, on each succesful blocking there is a 1/3 chance that it will claw the attacker back for d(YOUR_SHIELD_SKILL) damage.

There might be a synery with the hat of bear spirit that lets you stay berserk for longer or increase berserk counter on each kill.

I thought about it for a long time and decided not to include. But if retaliation damage is not enough rC+ can be put to compensate.

why not suggest it anyway? I don't think rC+ is going to break it. it's good to think about game balance but I feel like when it comes to unrand suggestions it's better to err on the side of "making people want to use the damn thing".

Obviously if it blocks a ranged attack, it should shoot back a polar bear claw. Which is like a regular bear claw, but covered in delicious icing.

it's like in mega man, when you beat Bear Man you get Bear Berserk, and you had to beat the bear pretty hard to turn it into a shield

Aside from the shield being a literal bear, it seems like basically a melee version of reflection combined with protection. This isn't a bad thing, it does seem like it would be quite useful, especially with the rC+. Invokable berserk is also quite strong, but for an unrand I think that's fair.

I wouldn't do the shoots-bear-claws-at-ranged bit, though
