Barbs Status...

Traveling up and down stairs with the Barb status on does not seem to deal damage to the PC. Is this intentional?

It's a joke. This bug is beneficial to the player; as such, fixing it would make the game harder (very slightly.)

Ah - thought it was probably a joke, but you know how it is - text does not convey tone, etc.

I will report it to bug tracker, because Manticores seem like they should be scarier than they are... Also because it's a bug.
