Let's give Sandman25 the benefit of the doubt, he already had found +2 boots of running, but eventually they corroded to +0 (old version). Or he had to become strong enough to abandon chei.

My bet: they weren't identified as "boots of running" until he bought them.

Yes, it was a trip from D6 to Lair 4. I am a slow player as you probably know, I never explore while below 100% HP/MP. Also I bought some consumables like scroll of blinking and potion of haste in the middle. Is it bad?

Yes, I know. I was already wearing a clock of MR at that time having a ring of rPois. I buy whatever helps me to survive now without trying to save some gold for later.
