Carbon is an essential part of any ecosystem

An ecosystem refers to living organisms and their environment, not just the enironment. And afaik, nothing survives in molten lava.

Counter proposal add this:


Random addition to some volcanoes and vaults; rare normal spawn over lava; pretty sure it wouldn't be that tactically different than an oklob; both of which are less powerful than ice statues and irrelevant if you don't need to get at whatever they are protecting.

I'm sure the Lava Snakes will appreciate you.

Touching a fire flower should let you throw flame with no cost until the next time you take damage. Unless of course you happen to be small, in which case it merely makes you medium sized until the next time you take damage.
