Yeah - it actually only punctured the roof with 1 branch. Only the treetop struck.

There were some other houses in the neighborhood that got hit a lot worse during the same storm. One house was hit by 3 trees of similar (90 ft) height, crushing parts of their 2nd story.

What it takes is heavy, wet snow plus blizzard-force winds, and trees get to swaying, which tears up the roots.

Here is a picture of the tree, taken while standing on the roof. The white rectangle at the bottom is the roof. The pine needles and sticks on it are where the tree hit the roof. The sawn-off tree in the foreground is the tree in question.

It's hard to tell scale, but you can see the back of a chair among the junk to the left of the tree. The tree is probably about 18 inches across at that point (near the top).

I, for one, always took these tier-7 demons seriously. They're

• immune to all non-fire and non-lighting damage and
• themselves deal massive damage with their branches
• which they have more of than even the main Dungeon!

As a professional tree, I take offence to this thread, the posters in the threads, and the guy who came up with gifs. Trees have feelings too! (Well, treerexi have feelings)
