With enough slaying, anything is a deadly weapon

I forgot to equip my xbow, meaning I had scrolls of magic mapping quivered. I fired them with f so I still didn't notice the xbow wasn't equipped. I had hurt several ugly things in the pack for a large portion of their hp by the time they reached me and I finally realized what was going on.

challenge: kill cerebov with a thrown scroll of magic mapping
streaks: 5 fifteen rune octopodes. 15 diverse chars. 13 random chars. 24 NaWn^gozag.

I would prefer getting a message "You cannot wield/quiver it". Why is it still possible to quiver a scroll for throwing???

Eucharists of holy wrath

You have exactly one piece and when you throw it you will still have one in your inventory, but it deals 50% less damage with each use.
