How to post a dump on this board...

Without it taking up a million miles of space? In other words, how do I get those neat little scrolling bars? Or, is the problem just that my dump is too big?

Nevermind - The dump was too big for one post, so I spread it over two. Now this becomes the "how do I delete a thread I started?" thread.

You can only delete your posts for a short time after submitting them, I think (click Edit, and above the post title, you can tick a "delete post" box). The mods would probably be happy to remove something otherwise, I'd PM them about it.

Helpful comment: it's customary to post morgue and character dump text within code /code tags. You can create a set of code tags by clicking on the Code button above the edit box while you're composing a posting. That will hide most of the content behind a clickthrough, making the thread readable.

Mournful lament: I've been reading the forum on the go via Tapatalk -- which doesn't do this abbreviating of code blocks. Blah.
