Lets talk about artifact ego changes in trunk!

So there seems to have been a great change in artifact egos in trunk. Its now possible to get all manners of silly stuff.

I have seen in two games:
cursed -3 scale mail of Fedhas' Brutal Revenge {Noisy HP-5 Slay+2}
+1 chain mail "Kaxaj" {+Twstr rCorr} (Twister is an evocable neutral tornado!!)
+2 chain mail "Cotiteux" {+Rage rC- MP+10}
the ring of Immorality {+Rage +Fly rC+ HP-5 Dex+7}

Now most of this is awesome, really, but so far the multitude of new possibilites seems to bring back the old problem of really crappy randarts.

-3 scale mail of the Guilds {+Blink MR+ rCorr HP+5 SInv}

I found a robe with both twister and HP+5 on it, and it was still unusable. I kind of wanted to see twister in action, but I'll wait for something worth wearing I guess.

I played around with twister a bit, and about 1/2 the time I got caught up in it. Would like to hear how others use it successfully, and when.

I've never used it, but this sounds like something where you use it, then run away, letting the tornado delay pursuit.

Probably works better in confined spaces, with a hasted character.

To me it sounds like its main purpose is letting the player go out with a bang. Definitely better that getting killed by falling down a flight of stairs while confused isn't it?
