How Many 8 year olds could you fight and win against at once

How many honest to God children do you think you could beat in a fair fight? Let's say it's an open field, all of you are unarmed, and the children posses an insatiable bloodlust. How many could you fell before you were overwhelmed?

Me, personally, I feel like any more than 3 would soundly topple me, but I'm curious as to CYC's thoughts.

Ever been bitten by a little kid? It wouldn't take many with 'insatiable bloodlust' to tear a man to pieces. Probably 5 or 6 would be enough to get the edge over an untrained man, assuming they all attack at once.

How big is the open field? I can outpace any 8 year old easily, so if the field extends far enough, I could win against pretty much an infinite number by doing a sort of reverse endurance hunting and just moving away until they collapse from exhaustion. If I can't do that and have to fight them head on instead, then I think I could take 4 but not many more than that.

4, considering that I can easily get their faces while they can't reach mine (and my skull will have ossified more). It probably makes a difference whether we are clothed or not, since a completely exposed belly and groin seem vulnerable too. Maybe 5 if we are all wearing reasonably thick clothes (jeans, jumper, shoes, the latter being more important offensively).

When I was 8 years old at summer camp, I watched a college wrestler who claimed to be Hulk Hogan's cousin exhaust four cabins of eight and nine year olds. Cabins were between 18 and 25 kids. Everyone from one cabin had to be down (as in, can't stand up to fight more) before the next cabin came, but the whole cabin got to attack at once. The fifth cabin wore him out.

I worked at the same camp when I was in college and was taken down by 4 kids. I have three sons now, aged 6, 10, and 11, and any two can wear me out physically.

I'm not super strong, and I'm more or less completely untrained (I took a few months of taekwondo classes as a teenager, long forgotten), but I'm 6'4" and have super long arms and legs. I think the reaching advantage combined with running speed would let me take down a pretty fair amount, I'd go with 6-7 as an average. Also assuming clothed with jeans, shoes, that sort of thing. I'd probably be running back and kicking whoever is closest, and would end up being torn to shreds when I finally manage to fall completely over trying to run and kick at the same time. If I trip early, then 2, if I don't trip for a while, maybe 10...I do run pretty fast

My sister is 10, and she can beat the crap out of a grown man, so let's just say the idea of a 2-year-younger version of her has burned it's way into my mind and prevents me from saying I could take on any 8 year old child in any environment. Under given circumstances, and given that my sister is NOT involved, I could probably take on a max of 4 at a time before being exhausted. Ten year old judo master has taught me well...
