Make butchering more interesting

what if you had to wash your clothes and yourself in water tiles but not in swamp otherwise you smell bad and lose stealth and shopkeepers close their shops as you approach. you also need to wash your hands before eating or else nausea. you can make soap from fat left from butchering to increase washing effectiveness. note that felids will be op because they dont have any armour to wash and can wash themselves any time so we will have to nerf them with something like a -1 int mutation every time they wash themselves.

washing is interesting because you have to take off your armour to wash it unless you decide to take bathes in armour which is gay and childish and that's an interesting decision

sorry wrong forum please move to gdd thx

edit: removed 'edit'

I guess you had the idea for -1 int mutations every time felids wash themselves from your own washing experiences.

And here I thought that this thread was going to be about getting cool effects from the meat you butcher/eat. (Kind of like ADOM except temporary effects rather than permanent.)

Instead it's about licking oneself clean. Hm, that's enough Internet for today.

Yeah, I know, it is way better than I was expecting, too.

Counter proposal:

New enemy: Meat Man

Info: Whenever you attack this enemy with a slashing weapon, depending on the amount of damage you do, beef jerky and/or meat rations drop from their body in tiles adjacent to them.

crawl doesn`t have a scent system (pizza tornado branch does but its a superior game) so bathing could never work the devs would never buy a good idea like that. i don`t think its gay to wash yourself inside clothes just a little weird or just trying to save some time whats wrong with that. also messing around with fatty corpses is in another game i play but not crawl.

@TehDruid: this should just happen to any butcherable enemy on a sufficiently strong (over a certain percent of maxHP) hit

proposals:
1: damage can be caused directly to any part of the body
2: parts that take enough damage fly away causing diverse penalties
3: you can only play as human, elf or dwarf
4: rename crawl to slaves to the stone soup: dwarf dungeon

Meat Man of TSO OP, the drawbacks of blood/meat trail are redundant, since TSO doesn't like stealth anyway. More healing from killing undead. Tomb is going to be a joke. :P

Slaves to Armok, God of Blood
Chapter 2: Dwarf Fortress

I couldn't agree more with these proposals :D
