Favorite things to enslave?

For a three runer Yredeleelemnillaeluula is my second favorite god, behind Fedhas. Enslave soul is probably my favorite god ability since there are just so many delicious options.

My three favorite candidates are:
-Guardian serpents (Or draconian shifters, usually exclusive to Zot)
-Deep troll shaman
-Deep elf death mages

What are yours?

Either Duvessa or Dowan, but not the other.

Titans are pretty good, resilient and with good offensive potential. Elf demonologists are fun. Ogre mages show up earlier than shamans and can Haste Other too.

Overall shamans are probably the best support, mighthasting your horde to victory. Haven't tried serpents, gotta try it.

Lots of uniques are fun, too, but obviously not as reliable to nab them. I did succeed one time in enslaving Nergalle and keeping her alive for quite a long time, she was very powerful. I've also had Rupert on a few occasions, which was pretty fun, as he can take hits well while dishing out a lot of damage, and will paralyze and confuse your enemies.

Yeah, Nergalle is pretty great. Nikola, OTOH, is a suicide. I've seen a player died this way.

That's taken from Yred's wiki page. I understand what the author is trying to say by 'dangerous', but I don't think that is a good choice of words. I don't edit the wiki but if anyone who sees this does...

As suggested in the thread I tried enslaving Ogre Magi, Deep Troll Shaman and Titan in my current game. I love Titan the most, the first two die too fast. I saw it casting lightning bolt through allied storm dragon zombie, why is it doing that?

My guess is it's using standard monster aiming AI and that will occasionally shoot through allies if they're deemed unworthy.

Kirke is fantastic. Deep Troll Shamans are cool too, but they're really hard to keep alive. Stay back and haste my dudes, OK? Don't go punch that frost giant.

Most of the professional dracs are worthwhile, too. Green caller was my favorite combo; somehow I didn't seem to get hit with miasma.

Yeah, draconian callers are IMO the best non-uniques targets to enslave soul. Asterion is good if you want to end the game sooner.

Well, like Nikola, he's a really strong ally, but can kill you if you aren't careful (because of the orb of elec).
