Crawl kobolds aren't lizardmen, they have cute fluffy ears. I kinda see them as wererats. Y'know since they hang out with other rats in the sewer getting lessons about the dangers of bulimia from Purgy.

Crawl Kobolds are not 'kobolds' then.

Given that with proper training they are able to cast spells and perform miracles, "humans" in Crawl don't seem to be like actual humans, either.

Player can be Kobold or Orc, but not Goblin or Gnoll? That's shitty and racist.
