so I started playing a hardcore game for a change. a true man's game. a sadistic game where everything wants to kill you, will succeed, and you will not even be sure how to avoid it next time.

I think my most recent try at this particular sadomasochism-fest, I used an autosave to try the same late-game fight about four or five different ways, and got my poor little queen-to-(not)be killed every single time. The BEST I could do for her was to have her give up her crown and run for her life.
It's true what they say about it being unfair and mostly about trial and error.
It's also so much fun that I really don't mind.

I just got coronated. it was a hard journey, and I had to fuck quite a number of people in the process. even then, the queendom fell into famine and poverty. but I died of old age, so there is that.

it is. you just have to kill every kindness in your soul and, yet, look pleasant to the eyes of both nobility and the rabble. and learn magic. its crazy useful.

yeah, it is like princess maker, but with heavy story that includes navigating through intrige, war and assassination attempts. its not eroge tho, as there is exactly 0 H-scenes.
edit: oh, and magical girl dresses, those are fabulous too.
