Manual of Disappearing

Yeah, what happened to it? I had a manual, was training it, got the skill up to 15, stopped training, and I can't find the manual anywhere. Does it destroy itself? I'm playing 0.15, so it couldn't have burned up (AFAIK, unless there's still a chance of item destruction whilst standing in flames). Any clues? If I dropped it in the trove, it would be gone forever, right? I don't recall dropping it there, but I can never be sure. Just want to make sure I'm not missing something basic about manuals.

Manuals disappear after they are used up. There is an in-game message that informs you of this, though it is fairly unobtrusive and easy to miss.

Manuals disappear after they are used up. There is an in-game message that informs you of this, though it is fairly unobtrusive and easy to miss.

The message is something like "You have finished your manual of ... and toss it away". So you can add to your rc-file e.g.

  Code:

force_more_message += finished your manual


This will stop your playing and you'll get a -more- prompt.
