So I am trying my best to play a game on webtiles and not hate myself over the lag. Doing okay. Got the key spells online. Found some books. I come down the stairs to D8 and get the orniflamme message. Do some looking. Find it. And it is guarded by 3 orc priests, an orc warrior with a polearm, 2 orc wizards, a centaur, a pack of killer bees, and a ghost.

All three stairs are in the open. No bottleneck. If I run for it, I die.

Yeah, Crawl just laughed at me and said fuck you.

If this is actually a problem, I think vault syntax has a way to specify that a given item can never be made into an unrand.
