Did summons get dropped on their heads on 8?
Playing a summoner on version 8, I notice that summoned creatures are almost entirely ineffectual. most of the time, they will refuse to actually attack the enemy until they have been hit first, or I have been hit since summoning. This makes distracting a monster with a summon while escaping rather difficult as instead of standing and fighting, my minion follows me down the hall without making attacks. >< In lower levels it seems to mean that I can't use my minions at all because that free hit they give my opponents is enough to kill them.
Not sure if it's a bug or if it's intended to be this way so I thought I'd ask.
