You can see 2 friendly giant newt skeletons, 2 friendly bat skeletons, 3 friendly adder skeletons, a friendly quokka skeleton, a friendly jackal skeleton, 2 friendly goblin skeletons, 4 friendly hobgoblin skeletons and a friendly kobold skeleton.

Necromancer is probably the easiest start.
Slightly nerfed in trunk because you can't carry corpses down the stairs anymore.

Nothing is assured yet, but chunks are supposed to be gone by 0.15.

I think that the idea was that you can make chunks but cannot eat them

The dev statement is 'Once we figure out what to do about spells/races that interact with chunks they will be removed'. Incoming Ghoul Reform.
