New spell - Total War

Level 6 spell, Charms.
200% damage by player and 150% damage to player. Applies to everything - melee, ranged, conjurations, wands, evocables, hellfire, torment etc.

Reasons:
1) Overcome high defenses (quickblade without slaying etc.)
2) Fun for ranged/conjurations or just axes with Makhleb
3) Speed up battles/kiting when there is no real danger to player

Disadvantage:
Cast the spell and use ranged attacks vs approaching Ettin, then retreat until the spell expires. Still risky because of energy randomization and new monsters appearing in LoS.

Maybe should be level 7 spell if it's too powerful for 6.

Sounds like a spell that would cause you to just spontaneously die a lot.

Overpowered spells would be rejected and I think it's close to spells like DDoor/Necromation - powerful but can kill character if used at wrong time.

This kind of effect sounds more appropriate for a high-end god ability though, in which case you could probably also get away with a slightly larger disparity (less +damage to self) so it is dangerous, but not crazy dangerous, to use.

A Troglodyte would never use this because berserk is the same thing except instead of you taking more damage, you take less damage.

That would be too close to Finesse IMHO. DDoor is crazy dangerous too if you ask me.

Yes, that is what I had in mind ;)
Also combines well with berserk/ddoor and high EV.

I was thinking more along the lines of a mummy with a Sceptre of Torment. Vaults and Depths would be fun, once.

Turning Agony into a one-shot-kill against everything susceptible seems a smidge too good; turning every source of torment into one-shot-kill-LOS is probably too good also.

Oops, forgot about agony/torment on offense. Yes, probably it should be special cased to something like 150% instead of 200%.
