Idea for either a Unique or a Zot/Wizlab kind of weird creature. The Magician (base Human/Halfling/!boring race):

Steals something off your body (armour, weapon or jewelry) gives you something in it's place.

Spawns with a stack of 30 mundane bolts; a either well-enchanted or branded crossbow. If a unique also generates "the Book of Party Tricks" on death. Base idea being he summons a bunch of crappy butterflies and uses portal projectile to shoot you through them, blinking away if you get in melee range (no melee attack).

Terpsichore has already been implemented in the game, and then purged from existence because she was impossible to balance and animated weapons are mechanically horrible. Terpsichore with butterflies and confusion would be even worse.

That was an afterthought to make it line up with the book of party tricks more...*shrug* here...I'll fix it to something more magiciany...
