rename formicids to mountain dwarves

i had that idea yesterday. we all miss mountain dwarves (at least many of us), even people who never played them like me, they were one of the most iconic dcss races and it's frustrating that they were deleted instead of being reworked. now, if you think of formicids, they really remind reworked mountain dwarves - they can dig, they can make shafts, they are strong (they can use huge weapons with a shield), they are steady (therefore stasis), all classic dwarven features. they are basically dwarves in ant bodies, so with a simple changing of flavor text they may become the new mountain dwarves of crawl

Formicids were originally proposed as Dwants, dwarf-ant hybrids.

It almost got them dismissed out of hand.

FR: felids can tunnel into walls similar to digging but they only dig a tunnel large enough for themselves, nothing larger than them can get into it. Large projectiles are also blocked from entering. While inside a tunnel, they can strike out to the next tile which is not a tunnel for a -5 accuracy penalty. Anything striking into the tunnel gets -30 accuracy. Cats hide under low objects all the time for combat advantages. Anyone who's ever tried to get a cat out from under a table or bed will support this feature instantaneously.

You know, if you want to play a deeply tactical roguelike with tables in it there's always Halls of Mist (no, I'm not joking, yes it has tables and they matter :) )
