Grimm is no longer a moderator. I haven't seen any announcements about it - He just silently isn't a mod anymore. You can look at any of his posts to confirm this.

that is why. he was very active, a mod, and normally a cheerful guy.
then, he starts looking a little down, a little gloomy, I dont know, his tone changed.
then, shortly after the naming of a new mod, he steps down and disappears.
sudden changes scare the hell out of me.

It is my understanding that Grimm is no longer a mod or admin and also that s/he has decided to stop posting here. Sic transit gloria mundi, as I increasingly find myself saying as they continue to pass.

While he annoyed me, leaving completely does seem like a fairly strange idea, and definitely not calming for me.
And, in addition to that, his grammar experience is definitely commendable.

Do you have any other means of contacting him besides this forum, Interval? Could you ask how long this hiatus will be? We will be glad to see him back. =)

I'd like to joke around about regicide and bartenders and the like, but since some people expressed serious concern:

Hopefully Grimm won't be gone for too long. He wanted to bring in another mod because he wasn't able to moderate as actively as he had in the past. MarvinPA is active but mostly sticks to GDD. People get burned out but usually come back eventually and, hopefully, Grimm will not be an exception to this trend. (Certainly, I hope he'll be back before too long, and wish him well in the meantime.)

Seriously, though: Even though this is an online forum about a little roguelike full of people I've never met, the moderation does get exhausting after a while.

Like others in this thread, I'm sad about Grimm's mod status loss, and hope he comes back to the forum.
