Yeah, experience for me too. It'd take a while, but XL 27 and 27 in all skills sounds like a decent start.

The real question is, what's the best race/background/god to take advantage of infinite experience potions?

Healer. Species doesn't matter under these conditions. Push xp into invocations, and then into maces as soon as you find a club to pick up. Then push it into support skills. You have two buttons that can instakill almost anything and three buttons that make you immune to death. You can even cure your own confusion, so you won't get confuse-locked without curing. The few mindless monsters that are immune to your instakills can just be splattered with whatever the best mace-class weapon to turn up happens to be. You can train every important skill immediately, and there is no chance of not getting important equipment.

With all skills at 27 the instant you start the game, race and background are almost irrelevent. You obviously want Ely or maybe Zin, because lack of curing potions is the only thing likely to kill you if you are paying attention.

Aside from the obvious experience potion cheese, probably agility/might/brilliance depending on what kind of character I'm playing. Because infinite agility/might/brilliance would be really really good.

I suppose if I could have infinite might potions, a short blade user of oka might be fun. Finesse, might, and a well enchanted quickblade would stack up the damage pretty quickly...

On that note, the old oka with haste and might as actual abilities must have been insanely OP

Assuming I can't get experience, probably heal wounds. You lose the game when your hp reach 0, this potion makes that not happen. It's possible to be extremely surrounded and taking more damage than heal wounds could heal, but you can avoid being that totally screwed pretty easily. It'd be really hard to lose with that much healing imho.

Go ogre, have all spell skills at 27 anyways, and you can use giant spiked clubs! Be the smartest ogre on the block! I guess you won't get your armor slots back, but the 27 dodging should help out until you get dragon armor and your 27 armor fixes things.
