Why do they exist or why are they supposed to be inaccessible? They exist to be amusing / frightening. They are supposed to be inaccessible to avoid being very cruel deaths.

Posted: Wednesday, 2nd April 2014, 06:10If you're lucky you might stumble upon them with a lucky pop of a mapping scroll, it makes for a fun surprise to breach into one of them for the first time.

We may take it for granted that s/he was wearing a kilt. All claymore wielders are by implication wearing kilts. Flaming-claymore wielders doubly so.
