Boring Beetle Vault

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

Yes. There's also a jelly vault full of jellies and items they can eat and a vault with a Zot trap and some enemy that walks into it repeatedly. Those are supposed to be inaccessible.

There was a really sleezy club on that level of the dungeon.

Why do they exist or why are they supposed to be inaccessible? They exist to be amusing / frightening. They are supposed to be inaccessible to avoid being very cruel deaths.

If you're lucky you might stumble upon them with a lucky pop of a mapping scroll, it makes for a fun surprise to breach into one of them for the first time.

I made the level sound vaults, and they're just meant as little jokes. If enough players complain about them, they'll just go (they are already intentionally rare).

I dunno it doesn't seem like you'd get the joke if you were playing the game, you'd just be confused/mislead.

What's ironic about this is that I won a MiBe with a flaming claymore last night. :P

We may take it for granted that s/he was wearing a kilt. All claymore wielders are by implication wearing kilts. Flaming-claymore wielders doubly so.

That's a bastard sword, not a claymore. (Note that the blade is whole, without an extra grip for extra-personal encounters.)

Everyone wrote:Claymore vs Double Sword stuff.

See, I'm in such a difficult position here. Being a scot myself, I feel so obligated to support the inclusion of claymores to crawl - and indeed I do!
Then, on the other hand, double swords, man. It's a sword. With two blades. How can I not love that?

...Feature request: Double Claymore.
