New Branch: Salt Mines :v

"You feel like you are being watched."

So some recent goon discussion in some Webtiles games has led to (woefully little) theorycrafting about a silly-but-fun-maybe possible Branch:
The Salt Mines!
As much as Zin's wrath can strike monsters and unbelievers into pillars of salt, this joke practically writes itself, but some possibilities:

Salt-based enemies such as Salt Golems, Salt Drakes/Draconians (with a hunger/thirst depleting breath attack), Living Pillars/<foo>-shaped Salt Piles (that mimic other mobs similar to Shades), Salt-lions (like antlions, an ambush trapdoor-spider-esque creature), etc.

Salt-based magic (likely always costing hunger/thirst regardless of spellcasting skill ["You feel kinda thirsty all of a sudden."]) such as Lehudont's Salt Spear, Saltblast, Cloud/Breath of Salt, Easycubo's Salt Armor, etc.

Possible features could include Gastronok/other slug-types inside a salt pillar maze, random altars to Zin, pools of Quicksalt (replacing water/lava), and a personal favorite and EXTREMELY silly idea:
rare end-of-branch boss monster Uppercut - "Uppercut punches you! YEEEEEAAAAAHH!!! That really hurt!"

Curious what you guys think of these goofball ideas, and hopefully you got a laugh out of this!

Why on earth would you put SLUGS in the salt mines, if only for your sadistic pleasure? They would be sliding the gauntlet at all times.

A Zin vault (perhaps in Orcish Mines—some Beoghites flipped allegiance and went with the Lawbringer) with salt statues of orcs would be cute, but a branch full of some of the most pointless enemies in the game (slugs snails) doesn't sound very fun. That's putting aside the fact that it makes no sense that slugs would be in salt mines.

You're right. There shouldn't be any slugs or snails in the salt mines.
