A wild русский язык appears!

I downloaded latest trunk today and некоторый text (some species/background/item descriptions) appear по-русски.
Как я могу fix this?

Replace "language=ru" with "language=en" in your init.txt in settings directory.

I added the line and now it's ok!
(I JUST WANT TO CLARIFY I'M NOT THAT STUPID AND I DID CHECK INIT.TXT AT VERY FIRST PLACE BUT THERE WASN'T SUCH LINE)

Also I think situation where game uses locale (I guess) to determine default language, but don't have trivial way to change it (there is no lang line by default) is bad.
