That feel when they posted less than a minute ago...

One thing I like about this forum is that you usually know what to expect from everyone when you see that they posted. For example, whenever I see grimm posted, I always make sure to use the bathroom beforehand so I don't pee myself from laughing.

Whenever I see a dev post, I always check just for the chance of them mentioning new content(which they do often) and from minmay, well.... I think we all know what to expect from minmay.

I'm curious to hear what kinds of patterns other people see from certain posters, just make sure we keep things positive, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. :D
To all new players: Ignore all strategy guides posted on the wiki, ask questions in the Advice forum, players with lots of posts normally have the best advice.

It seems to me that this whole "posting" process could be automated, based on this, which would save a lot of people a lot of time.

Well, every once in a while some add-bot tries to fulfill this wish of yours but the mods ruin it for all of us.

It's really unfair too because you can learn more about Crawl from a post that is about handbag sales than you can from many posts in the "advice" section.

You're looking for something too literal, Grimm. You just need to be able to read between the lines of what RA is seeing to get the Crawl-related benefit.

Those did make me consider trying out a skald and seeing how the new "songs" work, when I read them over while thinking how they could apply to Crawl.

Of course, hip-hop is more like a Scroll of Noise. At the very least, any Skald using hip-hop for their Songs should have a 100% chance of scrolls found in the dungeon to be Silence, planted there as a joint effort by all the denizens of the dungeon to preserve their sanity.

I'm starting to think that you are serious. In case you are, the joke was (or was supposed to be) that while you can't learn anything about Crawl from the bots' posts, reading them doesn't make you worse at Crawl either which isn't necessarily the case with some advice that has been historically given in the advice section based purely on wiki or something instead of own experience, bots etc. (I think the quality overall is much better now, though, and there are a lot of members with huge insight in Crawl nowdays).
