...I was pleasantly surprised when I drew crusade in Vault:8 to discover that charmed vault guards use the same speech. XD

I have a soft spot for that one due to the frog skeleton my first DDNe raised that killed Sigmund for me. This was really early in my Crawl playing and one of the first times I'd managed to kill that guy. That frog got me revenge for a lot of dead characters.

Posted: Thursday, 21st April 2011, 22:48I'm a bit sad that no one has cited the Singing Sword yet. We gave that a lot of lines. So I guess we have to make it really overpowered and print "Read it? (y/n)" prompts after particularly good lines

I've only ever got that sword once in all my crawl games. (and yes, it did cause my death.

Play a stealth build. You'll find it. I've done so 4 or 5 times in my Crawling career and never once with a character who didn't care about making noise.
