We need to establish a sound economic base for our society. Whaling in the Shoals is one possible route towards that.

Anyway I think what Frau Aegis was getting at was the famous philosophical principle of analogia entis, or Entenanalogie, namely that if something looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it most assuredly is a duck (Ente in German).
