I didn't have any rCorr/Regen, the rElec allowed me to use EV +5 ring near Titans and Electric Golems. It was a good shield for my character, I didn't need SH with 47 EV/RMsl anyway

Two very useful resists plus regen? That sounds like a good shield to me. I would not give up a good 2-hander for it, of course, but is I am using a 1-hander, this is about as good as you can hope for.

I rаn some fsim tests before the switch. It resulted in this
thread, I would need potion of might anyway, 12.1 damager per turn is too low. Surprisingly I had Demon Whip at min delay without training any M&F and I used it vs Orb of Fire and alike who is immune to both pain and electro, that was fun

Identified the -6 pair of gloves "Xucesmue" {rC- rN+++ MR- Int+4} (You bought it in a shop on level 7 of the Dungeon)
This will definitely transform my character, alright.
Average 0.16 artefact - This one just pains me:
a - [D:4] the +8 pearl dragon armour of the Lion {+Inv rF- rN+ MR+} (1870 gold)
Both in the same game. There are a few other bad artes but nothing really any worse than the typical artefact nowadays.

Do artifact books count? Because this one was pretty great (and aptly named):
- Code:
P - the Guide on Good Luck.
A book of magic spells.
It is an ancient artefact.
You found it in a labyrinth.
Stash search prefixes: {artefact} {artifact} {book}
Menu/colouring prefixes: identified spellbook book
Spells Type Level
a - Repel Missiles Charms/Air 2
b - Swiftness Charms/Air 2
c - Regeneration Charms/Necromancy 3
d - Spectral Weapon Hexes/Charms 3
e - Excruciating Wounds Charms/Necromancy 5
f - Warp Weapon Charms/Translocation 5
g - Iskenderun's Battlesphere Conjuration/Charms 5
h - Haste Charms 6
Select a spell to read its description, to memorize it or to forget it.
I actually have regen already courtesy of Kiku, but still a stellar selection of spells.

I - ring "Liwule" {rF+ rN+ MR+ AC+5}
On a speedrun, that certainly helped move things along. Tabbed through entire paks of death yaks (with a proper choke of course - not in the open) and even killed the learnean hydra in melee:
- Code:
10502 | Swamp:5 | Noticed the 27-headed Lernaean hydra
10509 | Swamp:5 | Killed the 27-headed Lernaean hydra
Only to - of course - die in snake.

- Code:
25710 | D:6 | Bought the +10 triple sword of Hevu {elec, -Tele rElec rF+ MR+} for 960 gold pieces
I don't feel the need to disto brand a weapon this game. I could do without the -Tele of course, but it will just train me (hopefully) to tele early enough that 5 aut don't matter. Also, bend space ignores it, which is nice.

The interesting thing is, if we take away the bad parts of that ring, and keep only the good ones...

I would wear it if it had just those two things, because I'm playing a Chei character that needs more strength to cast spells in OCPA.

Not exactly BAD; but it's badly NAMED.
Almost immediately afterwards I found a scroll of Aquirement and after dithering between 'Weapon' and 'Book' [I'm a VSWz but I'm using weapons as well to make use of the bite and very, very late Vehumet shrine on D:7 which is only accessible from up stairs from D:8 which I'm looking for...] and got this:

the +3 Elemental Staff {rElec rF++ rC++ MR++ AC+5} unrandart I believe
Currently have a +7 Eveningstar of draining and I think a +4 dwhip of protection, which was fire until I tried to rebrand it. Not going to switch over at this point in the game I don't think.
Also got an executioners axe of distortion. I didn't bother checking its enchantment level, but I picked it up in elf so none of them would

- Code:
C) +8 dire flail of the Three Mice {speed, Int+2}
I saw this weapon in an actual NaBe game of
SaintRoka. Although not an extraordinary weapon it's a very nice one at XL 16 in the orcish mines.
What makes this weapon special is that there's a music composed for it
:
"Three blind mice" (from
Dr. No)

- Code:
33124 | Orc:4 | Bought the +0 cloak of Starlight {rElec rC+ EV+4 Stlth-} for 1267 gold pieces
33569 | Orc:4 | Got a smoking cloak
33580 | Orc:4 | Identified the +2 cloak of Defence {Contam rC+ MR+ MP+9 Dex+2} (You found it on level 4 of the Orcish Mines)
Identified by wearing. Ok then, rElec is not a big deal at this stage and my En really appreciates MP+9 and lack of Stlth-.

ring of Thrizego {rPois rF+ rC+ Str+3 Int+4 Dex+2}
Maybe not the best ring ever, but still pretty darn good. Too bad I wont get the use it much as I found it on Tartarus:7 after getting the bone rune. I'm glad I finished exploring that level
U - the +9 blowgun of Wyrd {evade, Int+7}
(You found it on level 10 of a ziggurat)
Best blowgun ever, I'm carrying it around just for the int boost when buffing.

D:5 Shop for 150 gold. Pretty good value for 150 gold; the only downside is the Noisy; which is hilarious considering it has +Stealth.
Also this does seem like a very Xommish weapon.
