When I saw the royal Jelly, I pressed ah (evoke berzerk) instead of zh (cast haste.) (I think.. somehow I ended up berzek.) Then I decided to poke at the royal jelly and surround myself with enemies instead of working my way out of there. I went from 300hp to 30hp before I started trying to escape. One day I'll learn to stop and think. I had an amulet with rMut, rElec, rF and SInv.

DsVM from the "Suggest a combo to the person above you" thread. Everything was going swimmingly until I decided to enter a spider's nest and somehow died from 40+ life by a lone wolf spider. This death looked really weird... I can't find the morgue, it doesn't show up yet in my profile. Will have to wait I guess.

Yeah I saw this on the morgue. I was trying to run away so that my Soul Eater would kill it (as it had been the case already, demonic guardian is so OP in the early game...) but it would have been much better if I had just attacked or even waited. Bad decision is bad.

I played a Spriggan Earth Elementalist, and it went all too well. I had a +3+3 ring of slaying, a short sword of draining, and a staff which enchanced my earth spells, so my equipment was very awesome. I also had lots and lots of stones. I was only level 6. I enter D:5. Prince Ribbit appeared.
"My equipment is awesome, he will go down with a few stone arrows".
So I blasted him a few times, got him severely wounded. He came close to me. My arrow missed, and he got to melee. I missed again, and Ribbit one-hitted me to death. 28 HP, 29 damage.
"FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"

I wielded a -Tele weapon while defeating Roxanne. I forgot to switch back, and the next Naga I ran into was suddenly hard enough to kill me, even with heroism, finesse, and Berserk.

I was playing a Spriggan Summoner. Was at XP level 8 and was ploughing my way through the dungeon like nobody's business. Then I got a bit cocky in a Bailey and an Orc Warrior with a crossbow got me with one shot.

Octopode/Conjurer of Nemelex, I was fanning out a Deck of Wonders, picking cards until I ran out and got Shuffle. 'Shuffle? What kind of crap is this' I thought to myself, and went on my merry way only to find out later that I now have more Strength than Intelligence and am now very quick and dexterous with my tentacles.

DsAK. Enters D:1, stabs a few rats, tabs against a gobelin before figuring the guy had a dagger of distorsion. Died.
DsAK. Enters D:1, stabs and tabs though D4, gaining XL5 and cool mutations : nightstalker 1, powered by death 1 and 2 levels of antenae in a single shot. Finds a kobold with poisonned needles, tabs it to death, falls to 1HP under poison, drinks its potion of curing, regenerates the whole thing. Meets a scorpion, smashes it but guess what ? No more potions of curing. Died.
Scorpions really stink(g)s.
