You must have a lot of HP and AC to survive that.
The best strategy most frequently overlooked by new players for surviving: not starting a fight to begin with.

No, with enough AC, you probably wouldn't be completely crushed, assuming that the armor retained its shape. A falling brick trap would definitely ignore or seriously reduce effective EV, though.
(And, of course, SH doesn't matter one whit. Like it ever does, though.)
