We haven't had a poll in a while.

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

We haven't had a poll in a while.

Should we have one?

Edit: new option added on Nov 8 at the hectoring insistence of moocowmoocow. Please submit your vote again, and blame his demographic for the inconvenience.

Wait I've got a better idea. After the poll confirms that we want a new poll, let's have a poll on what the subject of the new poll should be.

Then what are we waiting for? (Should we have a poll on that too?)

This poll's only been up for a day. We need at least a week before we truly know the mind of the community.

Aren't you worried that this could polarize the community?

Due to the limited amount of poll options, I propose that we have a poll about what options are to be on the poll about the subject we are going to have a poll on.

Hm, good point, I hadn't considered that only ten options can be on any single poll. How do you suggest we go about structuring the pre-options poll poll?

The appearance of the polls and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a poll in the middle of a poll.

"Bardiche" always sounds like a type of food to me. Perhaps a modest seafood sandwich, with lemon.

Noodle Shapes, Poleaxes - we need something more then Food and Weapons!

What about a poll regarding 'Preferred Transportation Off The Road' - Walking/Running, Biking, ATV, Off-Roading Vehicle, etc.

I'm not really sure, maybe it would be best if we had a poll on that so we can easily figure out the best solution.

How would we structure such a poll? In other words, what are our choices in terms of solutions for designing a poll for a poll about the choices on the planned new poll?

Well it seems editing the poll choices resets all votes to zero. Everyone will need to vote again in order to avoid a looming débâcle.

I have come to believe that the whole world is a poll, a harmless poll that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.
