This, precisely this behaviour and this choice of topics make me think about spamming the whole Crazy Yiuf's Corner with NASA full-size pictures again, just to make you people with weak computers think thrince three times before making another inane statement out of boredom while you could at least share some acquired knowledge with the people around or smile at someone else's achievements -- perhaps even yours.

Imposter! it should be findan smashan (when I talk really fast I can actually sound like this though I guess most people would use fightin' smashin' swingin' to represent that ending that is somewhere between "an" and "in").

Which Sayan?
__

Sayan
Bent swords come to replace the straight swords of the past, and between them sayan is one of the best by right! The precise curve of its balanced blade is perfectly suited to slashing - in the hands of a master this weapon is flawless.
Unfortunately, to master it fully will require prolonged training.

Image

High Sayan
This is treated as a poor man's weapon, and thus disdained by noble warriors. The hunters from Shiu claim that they invented it, since they use long-stemmed sabers to hunt worms.
Even though the weapon is called a sayan for the shape of its blade, its handling is closer to axes rather than sabers.

Re: Playan Crawl, havan a good time

The power of any good hammerfighter who knows how to swing a Mesyac right is off the charts. It is hard to defeat that one...
Though, I think, an Innata or a Mamba might be a good answer, and a Kelete black hammer might whack it off the chain. But when Mesyac strikes, pray you will have mercy, or once again there will be whisper in the croud: "Another one was given full moon..."

"Mesyac" is "Crescent (Moon)" in Russian -- a curved blade on a long chain able to both slice the unprotected and crack open the shields of the heavy ones. Its only weakness is slow swing speed.

Any flail-type weapon is the best weapon. I like the blunt ones more - if one has a large red gem in it, you're set for invincibility.

If your weapon is "solid", I mean, not on a chain and is collideable throughout, the best choice is a good green gem + red gem (pretty much obligatory on later levels of the Arena). Turn green noclip on, get weapon into the enemy's barrell, turn noclip off.
BOOM.

Re: Playan Crawl, havan a good time

Have you ever tried a pure-sword/hammer/axe with somebody else? I think an Innata duel must look good: the blades are light and swift, and the battle should be really spectacular.
Actually, the black Kelete hammer might be better than a mace. Though the Skinner mace beats them all in terms of swiftness: only when a double-blade is coupled with a weapon, you can outbeat it with a Melkian mortar.

What that shield? I think that has to be a broad axe. The two posts are because I hit reply instead of edit when I realized that it was a broad axe not a war axe. I've reported the second post for deletion because it annoys me.

He's not actually holding the shield. The shield goes in his pack for use along with his shortsword - looks like a distortion one. Broad axes have one blade so that has to be a battleaxe.

I finally got my hands on one of these guys and it turns out he's got a hook on the back of his cape for carrying gear, so he can put his axe there while he uses his sword and shield, or his shield while he's using the axe. The sword must be distortion or some niche brand that he likes to carry around. And the axe must be a battleaxe.
