I've finally found a game that is actually better than DCSS!

The religions are way more fleshed out and interesting than DCSS (which is of course saying a lot), but alas, the gods don't seem to give any visible abilities (some players even argue whether the gods are useful at all). (There were some legendary players who are said to be bestowed with truly powerful invocations, which might be an indication that the gods actually give something real but with very tight requirements.)

The game also contains that one system that is reputedly more obnoxious than cooking (although a mastery in cooking can help you through it): marriage.

It has the most amazing cocktail mixing I have ever seen in a a game. It's better than the cocktail mixing in The Kingdom of Loathing.

I'm a little conflicted about this game. On one hand, there is an awful lot of grinding involved (unless your funded). On the other hand, the graphics look so real. Either way, I'm addicted to it. Still on my first character!
