Another mage buff!

Starting vaults will all now have a normal chance to generate floor rubbish in accessible locations. This should noticeably increase the chance you find a dagger or spear before running into that jackal pack you just can't quite kill with your MP.

Actually it's a caster nerf, now non-mages have a higher chance to find a ranged attack via a wand before running into monsters, which previously only casters could do.

That doesn't nerf casters though. Mage backgrounds aren't any weaker than otherwise. Buffing one choice doesn't nerf its opposite or vice versa in a single player game where species and backgrounds aren't designed to be balanced against each other anyways.

Pretty sure wheals was speaking tongue-in-cheek; the chances of finding a wand are at least an order of magnitude lower than a weapon in floor trash.
