Knowledge Bots

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it belongs here. Also, come here if you just need to get hammered.

Knowledge Bots

Not sure the appropriate place to put this. The bots have a circular reference regarding Wolf Spider: "Similar to a trapdoor spider, except without the traps or doors." and Trapdoor Spider:"Similar to a wolf spider, except hides under the floor. Cannot be damaged while under floor."

Re: Knowledge Bots

The knowledge bots contain many, many dumb jokes that only one person thinks is funny, but nobody else cares enough to remove. The joke there is that both spiders are a mass of hit points with bite damage, and the only special thing about the one is in its name, so you probably didn't really need the knowledge bots to tell you.

It isn't a very funny joke.

Re: Knowledge Bots

Thanks. This is the first game I've referenced the bots. I've always used the wiki but I noticed a lot of posts on these forums saying to ignore the wiki and use bots instead.

Re: Knowledge Bots

For enemies, make sure to also look them up with %??wolf spider for exact stats.
Then look them up with ??wolf spider anyway because sometimes the bot doesn't list weird things they can do (for example, %??starcursed mass ??starcursed mass)

Well, since you can't trust anyone, the only options are source-diving for answers and wizard mode for trying out tactics.

Re: Knowledge Bots

I've found DCA pretty good for general questions, and the IRC channel good for more specific ones.

The best way to win games is to give your password to me and pay me to play on it. I charge $25 per win with a $5 Xom fee.
