Just want to say I dislike the 'this is a mummy with more hp!' 'this is a felid mixed with an octopode!' as if it's a reason to deny a greatly designed species.. There's already loads of species with massive similarities. Some permutations are interesting and happen to work for a handful of would-be species.

"Fast but with no equipment" seems to already be completely covered with felids, though, particularly considering the lack of flexibility associated with that conduct. Neither flight nor hooves are massively interesting, so I imagine this would just have to be "felid but with more HP and no extra lives".

I agree with the bolded part - for instance, if Mi didn't exist and someone proposed to add Mi, would the proposal be rejected because it seems to similar to HO? But that could just as easily indicate that we should reduce the number of species, not add more. Proposals should consider good design instead of the status quo of crawl because they don't always overlap.
