More interesting item brainstorming

I had a few ideas for making a few items more interesting by fusing two "boring" items or making things more situational, and I wanted to run them by CYC and see if people had other ideas

Ring of sustenance + ring of sustain abilities = ring of endurance. Both rings are fairly weak, so this makes them more of an actual option.

Potion of might = potion of monstrosity. Gain might and aux attacks, but lose armor benefits in the polymorphed body parts.

new potion: potion of uglification. Gives you the trains of an ugly thing- random resistance and branded attack.

Merging two useless rings will probably not make a very useful item, also potion of might is really good, though it probably isn't conveyed in the game in the best way (apart from obvious +3 Str effect, it adds 10 slaying to your attacks).

I think this is an excellent concept. Here are a few more suggestions:

potion of porridge + potion of poison = potion of heartburn

cursed ring of teleportation + amulet of stasis = brooch of indeterminacy

ring of hunger + amulet of the gourmand = hairpin of obesity

@Sar: Mushing two useless rings together to make a situational one seems remotely beneficial to me. I could see a troll potentially grabbing the combined one for pan/hells for instance, depending on their armour resistances. Also potion of might is definitely great, but its not an interesting decision in my opinion. That one was inspired by lignification.

Screw summon forest, make a poison spell that is summon filth. Low level, you get sewer, higher level you get swamp, highest level you get miasma filled death bog.

but he does not like magic....
proposal: trog approves only of discord. it is the only spell you can learn, or cast without incurring penance. you cant train magic skills tho, so this matters very little.
